A Winery With a Sense of Place
Who We Are
Defined by location. Shaped by time.
Some wineries are defined by their grape variety. Others by their winemaker. Chasovnika is defined by its location -- a medieval clock tower in one of Europe's oldest living cities. The wine we make is inseparable from the place where it is made.
Our History
Born in 1992. Built on centuries.
In 1992, Chasovnika Winery opened inside the walls of Nessebar's historic clock tower -- a building that had stood at the centre of the Old Town for centuries before a single bottle was ever filled.
We did not choose a convenient location outside the city. We chose the most demanding one inside it. The narrow streets, the stone walls, the weight of the place -- all of it became part of what we make.
Nessebar is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The clock tower is one of its landmarks. We are inside both.
What Sets Us Apart
Three things that cannot be replicated.
The Location
Not outside the town, but inside it. In the heart of Old Nessebar, within the clock tower itself.
The Wines
Sixteen wines across four categories — fruit, dry, blended, and herbal. Each with its own character.
The Recognition
Internationally awarded wines, recognized at Decanter, Mundus Vini, and Concours Mondial.
Centuries of stone. Decades of craft.
Our Wines
Sixteen wines. One standard.
Our wines are not made to follow trends, but to reflect the place they come from. Across fruit wines, dry wines, blends, and herbal varieties, each bottle carries the same intention — to be distinctive, balanced, and memorable.
The goal is not complexity for its own sake, but character. Something you recognize, and return to.
Come and taste the difference.
The cellar is open every day. The wine is ready. So are we.
